Make things open. It makes them better.

By being transparent with our team and clients, we build trust and deliver better outcomes

Open communication with our team

Every few weeks we have an all-hands video call for everyone at Juno. (We’re a fully remote company, so we can’t just get everyone in the office.) We explain what’s changed with our in-house software, give detailed updates on how the company is doing, and share our plans for the future.

There’s time and space for questions, and we share recordings internally, so you can catch up later if you can’t join the call in person. Which means everyone knows what we’re trying to do, why we’re doing it, and how we can all work together to make things better.

Transparency with our clients

For our clients and their estate agents, we give as much information as we can about what’s going on with their transactions, through email updates and reliable, up-to-date online dashboards. And we use the same data to let people know what we need to keep things moving.

That’s one reason why we complete transactions about 50% faster than the average conveyancing firm.

Incident reviews strengthen our processes

Sometimes things go wrong. We might need to improve our in-house technology, or provide more guidance or training to our team members.

That’s why we do incident reviews. It’s a blameless process that assumes good intent from everyone and is designed to understand what happened, so we can understand how we need to improve our systems and processes to make it easier to do the right thing, and harder for that type of problem to happen again.

We use services like incident.io to manage incidents while they’re happening, and to gather all the information necessary for an effective post-incident review. And then we follow up to make sure that all the lessons haven’t just been identified, but the necessary follow-up actions have been taken as well.
